With the pandemic worsening the situation for many local families already living paycheck to paycheck, providing essentials such as food, shelter and clothing has become more crucial than ever.
With each closing, Jamal Noorzoy Residential contributes to established local nonprofits who directly assist local families in need. Whether it's distributing gas cards to get to and from a job, covering rent for a family out of work, providing groceries, covering an electricity bill, or buying shoes for growing children, we recognize the need for direct support services in our area.
We are grateful for the opportunity to support the charitable organizations who lend a hand to our neighbors and are beyond thankful for the amazing community we enjoy.
Jamal Noorzoy Residential is currently supporting All-In Monterey County, a group that provides rapid assistance to those who require help with housing, clothing, food and other necessities. Jamal clearly remembers the challenges early in his career of supporting a family, and he is particularly empathetic to those who are lacking in basic needs.
We are also proud to be part of the Carmel Realty Foundation, which significantly contributes to local organizations.
In May 2022, ALL IN Monterey presented the first annual ALL IN Scholarship award to a high school senior who exemplifies the meaning of being ALL IN. This year's scholarship is being sponsored by Jamal Noorzoy and was presented to William Black. Will and his father JD started volunteering at ALL IN through Will's school, and he has continued to volunteer for two years.
With the support of his school and parents, Will has overcome challenges and excelled at Palma School. He will be attending Monterey Peninsula College in the fall. The cost of Will's college needs is in part being funded by the ALL IN scholarship.
